The year 2011 just might go down in history as the year that initiated the end of artificial water fluoridation. Nearly three million people living in 37 different North America communities will no longer be forcibly medicated with synthetic fluoride chemicals via their public water supplies, thanks to a groundswell of dedicated citizens and city council members that fought popular myths about fluoride with scientific truth — and won!
According to data compiled by the Fluoride Action Network (FAN), a group devoted to exposing the truth about the toxicity and dangers of fluoride chemicals, 37 cities and communities across the US and Canada officially ended their water fluoridation programs in 2011. From small towns like Tellico, Tenn., which has just 900 residents, to large cities like Calgary, Alberta, with over 1.3 million residents, the truth about fluoride is spreading like wildfire. For far too long, water utilities mostly in the United States and in some parts of Canada have been adding toxic fluoride chemicals to drinking water supplies because they were told that doing so would help prevent tooth decay. It never really mattered to most of them that no scientific studies had ever proven that ingesting fluoride chemicals is safe, or that it helped improve oral health.

Vaccines are so effective at halting disease that they confer total immunity, say vaccine advocates. “Take a flu shot and you won’t get the flu!” Both flu shots and MMR vaccines are so safe and effective that everybody should be forced to take them, they insist.

Hold on just a minute. Wasn’t their whole argument about vaccines based on the idea that they confer total immunity to those who take them? Well, if that’s true then they should have no fear whatsoever of un-vaccinated people!
According to vaccine promoters, if you take a flu shot vaccine, that means you can run around and drench yourself in flu viruses with total immunity. You can lick dirty doorknobs, shake hands with people who just wiped their runny noses, and even touch filthy drooling babies right before you eat a sandwich with your contaminated hands. Thanks to the vaccine, you’re now bulletproof!

Did you know? Microwave popcorn gives off a toxic, lung-damaging gas when cooked

You might be reassured to learn that the buttery flavor in microwave popcorn typically comes from a chemical actually found in butter, but you shouldn’t be. This chemical, called diacetyl, is so toxic that it commonly destroys the lungs of workers in microwave popcorn factories, afflicting them with the crippling and irreversible disease known as bronchiolitis obliterans. Bronchiolitis obliterans is so rare outside of this context that it has become more commonly known as “popcorn lung,” after the primary cause of the disease.
Regulators and health professionals have known of this risk for decades, but always assumed that it would only affect people breathing in especially high concentrations in factory settings. Then in 2007, a man who regularly ate two bags of microwave popcorn every day was diagnosed with popcorn lung, indicating that diacetylenters the air and lungs when microwave popcorn is cooked. Anxious to reassure consumers, most microwave popcorn companies phased out diacetyl — only to replace it with chemicals that have the same effects.
